You'll likely find old paint on the walls that was hidden behind the old cabinets, showing how many times the kitchen has been painted since the last cabinetry install. Without any cabinets in place, painting the kitchen will be a relatively easy affair. This will take a little longer to see results than the replacing of your kitchen cabinets, but it can be worth the trouble. If you have a window that looks out of your kitchen and into your yard, you should ask your landscaper to place the most attractive plants and shrubs in that area so that you can appreciate the aesthetic beauty of everything while you are washing dishes or are otherwise in the kitchen when the sun is up.
